A charming vintage Aynsley teacup and saucer set in fine English bone china, featuring a delicate black striped border softened by tiny pink and yellow rose garlands and finished with elegant gold trim.
This design has a very refined, understated look. The crisp black lines give it a subtle Art Deco feel, while the small floral swags keep it feminine and graceful. The softly scalloped saucer and elegant handle add to its classic English teaware character.
Based on the green Aynsley crown backstamp shown, this set appears to date to the 1930s, most likely circa 1934–1939. Sources on Aynsley marks note this style of green crown mark without the later “Est. 1775” wording as a pre-war mark from that period.
